Sarah Whitesell

Prior to joining Obvious, she was part of Ernst & Young’s Wealth Asset Management group in their Sydney, Australia and San Francisco offices. While specializing in compliance and international tax for a variety of financial service clients, Sarah developed a passion for firms pursuing impact across multiple landscapes including venture capital, private equity, fund of funds, and hedge funds.

Sarah received a M.S. in Taxation from the University of Washington and a B.B.A with a concentration in International Business and Accounting from the University of South Carolina. She also spent a number of years living in Japan, connecting with her roots and cultivating an obsession for all things Matcha.
