Katie Giometti

Principal

Katie brings to Obvious deep experience fostering partnerships between financial institutions and fintechs and a passion for increasing affordable access to financial services.

Before joining Obvious, Katie spent four years at Plaid, where she led business and corporate development for Plaid’s credit products and brokered foundational partnerships with large financial institutions, fintechs, and other product partners, including Freddie Mac, Bank of America, and Transunion.

Prior to Plaid, she spent almost three years at BlackRock driving go-to-market efforts for FutureAdvisor and BlackRock’s broader wealth tech portfolio.

Katie grew up in New York and holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College. She enjoys doing anything active in her spare time, especially running, biking, and skiing.
