Jacqueline Young

Jacqueline brings to Obvious deep operating and investing experience across consumer and enterprise, and a passion for partnering with exceptional founders at the earliest stages.

Before joining Obvious, Jacqueline was an investor at 500 Global where she led early-stage deals in industries spanning edtech, healthcare & femtech, future of work, fintech, payments/risk, and more. Jacqueline was also previously an investor at Draper Associates, Tim Draper’s early-stage fund.

Prior to venture, Jacqueline built and launched consumer products at Facebook with a focus on global payments products across the family of apps. She also spent time in GTM strategy and operations at Optimizely (acquired by Episerver in 2020) and started her career in consulting with Ernst & Young’s Financial Services Office.

Jacqueline holds an MBA from MIT Sloan and a B.S. from UC Berkeley. She is a Bay Area native and enjoys traveling and all water sports and activities.
