Jack Rothacher
Jack brings over 15 years of experience in venture capital, finance, and accounting to Obvious Ventures.
Prior to joining Obvious, Jack served in controller and finance roles at 8VC, Formation 8, and Sequoia Capital. Jack owned processes including portfolio company financing, fund management, reporting and driving the implementation of new accounting and financial reporting software. Previously, Jack was part of the Deloitte audit practice in San Francisco where he focused on investment management, clean technology, and renewable energy clients.
Jack received his M.B.A. from Western Governors University and he graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Arizona. Jack is a CPA and has passed level I of the CFA program.
Jack grew up in Salt Lake City and has been involved in the Big Brothers program since 2011.
